Kids learn more when they’re having fun. With this in mind, MakingMusicFun.net pursues creative excellence in the design of elementary music education resources for teachers and students that turn learning into playtime. Because we also care about each child’s lifelong experience, each resource is designed with the purpose of building kids up in positive ways and enriching their lives with an appreciation for music and learning.
Andy Fling, site owner/teacher, is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Theory and Composition, and graduate studies in Music Theory and Composition and K-12 Music Education. In 1992 he began teaching music at a small Christian school and an excitement for teaching kids and music education began. Today he teaches to a studio full of private music students, offers art lessons, and shares the fun through this website. Andy and his wife, Tricia, share a love for Christ, and attend The Refuge Church in Litchfield Park, AZ.
I hope you will enjoy these free resources as much as we enjoyed creating them for you. Thanks for visiting! - Andy
