At MakingMusicFun.net, we believe kids learn best when they’re having fun — but collecting points and maintaining streaks isn’t enough. Our mission is to design high-quality elementary music education resources for teachers and students that really help students read music, and really understand theory, and develop their creativity in a way that encourages them to play, imitate, experiment, and express their personality.
- High-Quality Beginner and Easy Sheet Music
- Professionally Designed Music Theory Worksheets
- Famous Composer Lessons and Resources
- Piano Academy Focused on Skill-Building
- Composing with Kids Web-Based App
- Annual Music Competition
Because we also care about developing each child’s experience with music, each resource is designed with the purpose of building kids up in positive ways, by building confidence, developing musical skills, and growing a lifelong appreciation for music and learning.

Andy Fling, site owner/teacher, is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Theory and Composition, and graduate studies in Music Theory and Composition and K-12 Music Education. In 1992 he began teaching music at a small Christian school and an excitement for teaching kids and music education began. Today he teaches to a studio full of private music students, offers art lessons, and shares the fun through this website. Andy and his wife, Tricia, share a love for Christ, and attend Christ Church of the Valley (CCV) in Surprise, AZ.
I hope you will enjoy these free resources as much as we enjoyed creating them for you. Thanks for visiting! - Andy
