"Honeysuckle Rose" was composed by American jazz pianist, Thomas “Fats” Waller and American poet, composer and lyricist, Andy Razzaf. It was introduced in the Off-Broadway revue, “Load of Coal” in 1929. Waller’s 1935 recording of "Honeysuckle Rose" was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
