1) Ladybug, Ladybug
Drill piano fingerings by touching the correct finger to each flower as you fly around the garden. It's great for pre-readers.

2) Bumblebee, Bumblebee
Buzz like a bumblebee, spinning your finger clockwise with your student as they dive to touch the note with the correct finger. Play the musical example with the same fingering. It's a skill-building worksheet and a game. For gameplay, challenge your students to practice the fingering three times and then play the musical example. Each student is awarded one point for each correctly played note, for a total of 7 points per example or 21 points total. Students with 19+ points win the game.

3) Note Name Brush-Up
Show your best art skills by drawing a treble or bass clef. Write the correct note on the staff above the alphabet letter. Try 10 notes at a time, or all 40 notes at once. For gameplay, grab a stopwatch and challenge students to correctly write ten notes as fast as possible.

4) Piano Practice Tic-Tac-Toe
Help kids get focused and practice more productively while playing a game. Select nine measures that need practice and place each measure number in a square. The student selects a square, practices that measure three times, and then plays to win the square. A correct performance awards the student with an X for the square. An O is added to the square for an incorrect performance.

5) Rhythm Maze
Solve a maze by correctly clapping basic rhythms. Practice rhythms at the bottom of the worksheet with the student before the game begins. Solve the maze by progressing from start to finish, correctly clapping the rhythm named on each path block.

6) Music Symbol Swat
Learn musical symbols with a fast-paced game for two piano students. Use the worksheet as is and swat with fingers, or make a larger version to swat with hands or a flyswatter. Teacher calls out a musical symbol on the game board. Two students race to swat the correct symbol and record a tally point. The first student to correctly identify ten symbols is the winner.

7) Rhythm Tic-Tac-Toe
Clap the rhythm on the worksheet to win the square. The first student with three in a row wins the game. Place this worksheet in a plastic sleeve and mark the X’s and O’s with a black dry erase marker. Two worksheets are included to provide a variety of rhythm combinations.

8) M&M Note Name Challenge
Ask student to place a plain M&M candy on the correct line or space of the treble or bass clef staff. If they’re correct, they win the candy.

9) CodeBreaker
Add secret agent fun to note naming. Ask students to correctly identify each note and write its corresponding letter name on the blank below. The code is broken when the letters reveal a secret word.

10) Make-A-Match
Reinforce basic rhythmic values with a matching game. Determine the value of the given set of rhythms on the left. Next, create a set of rhythms of equal value in the box to the right. Make it a game by assigning a point to each box. Students completing the worksheet with 9+ points win the game.
