Bulletin Board Posters

The bulletin board posters are purposefully sparse to help students focus on the main points and give them the best chance of remembering them.

Word Search

The composer word search is designed to build reading skills, so it does not include the search words. Students must search for keywords in the Hey Kids, Johann Sebastian Bach biography (included), to find the words they feel are important about the composer. The About page of this bundle lists the search words.

Bach Coloring Page

Print the coloring page, grab the crayons, and start the CD. Giving students a coloring page keeps them focused and quiet, providing you with an opportunity to introduce the classics.

Meet the Composer Job Application

Students complete this job application for Johann Sebastian Bach, including all the facts they learned from reading his biography.

Toccata in D Minor Listening Glyphs

Glyphs are pictures of facts. Listening glyphs provide young students with a way to express the "facts" about what they hear in a musical selection. Included are a general listening glyph that can be used with any piece, a listening glyph for Toccata in D Minor, and a blank listening glyph that gives you the greatest freedom to assess any piece of music.

Toccata in D Minor Listening Map

The Toccata in D Minor listening map is a one page icon-based listening map for your upper elementary music students.

History of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor

Learn about the history of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor.

Musette in D Orff Orchestration w/Play Along Mp3

Teach your music students an Orff orchestration of Bach's Musette in D and then play along with a harpsichord. Mp3 included.

Great Composer Farm (Kids Song)

Wrap your Johann Sebastian Bach unit up with Great Composer Farm. Lead sheet (music, lyrics, chords) included.
