"Blue Skies" was written by Irving Berlin in 1926, as a last-minute addition to the Rodgers and Hart musical "Betsy." The show ran for only 39 performances, but Berlin's song was an instant success. The opening night audience brought the show's original singer, Belle Baker, back for 24 encores. This arrangement is designed to be engaging and fun, while providing students with the best chance for success.
