To pursue creative excellence in the design of music resources for elementary music classroom teachers, private music instructors and homeschool parents, for the purpose of building kids up in positive ways and enriching their lives with an appreciation for music and learning.
Andy Fling, site owner/teacher, is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Theory and Composition, and graduate studies in Music Theory and Composition and K-12 Music Education. He currently teaches to a studio full of private music students, offers weekly homeschool classes, and shares the fun though this website. Andy and his wife, Tricia, share a love for Christ, and attend Calvary Community Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
I hope you will enjoy these free resources as much as we enjoyed creating them for you. Thanks for visiting! - Andy
We knew that kids learn better when they're having fun. With that in mind we set out to build a site that was jam-packed with great music lesson resources that turn learning into playtime. MakingMusicFun.net hit the web on December 1, 2007 with about 60 pages. Today our site has 1,700 pages of resources, and is ranked the #1 site for elementary music education according to Alexa.com. Thanks for your support!
Thanks so much for thinking so highly of what we do!
