The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Paul Dukas

Paul Dukas was born in Paris, France in 1865. His most memorable work is perhaps L'apprenti sorcier (The Sorcerer's Apprentice) (1897), which is based on Goethe's poem "Der Zauberlehrling". The piece was used in the Walt Disney film Fantasia (1940). It is a testament of Dukas's rhythmic mastery and vivid orchestrational skills.
