Minuet in G by Johann Sebastian Bach
for Intermediate (Level 5) Piano Solo from the Free Sheet Music Index
Minuet in G, is commonly attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach, though scholarship, particularly on the part of Hans-Joachim Schulze, now indicates that the work is that of German composer and organist Christian Petzold (1677 - July 2, 1733). Petzold is believed to have composed two of the pieces from the Anna Magdalena Bach Notebook: "Minuet in G Major" and its partner piece, "Minuet in G minor". (For search purposes MMF! identitifies Johann Sebastian Bach as the composer.)
