Danny Boy (Londonderry Air) is a traditional Irish song set to Irish anthem, Londonderry Air. The lyrics were written by English lawyer and lyricist Frederick Weatherly in 1910. They were originally set to a different tune, and then adapted to the tune of Londonderry Air in 1913.
