It's such a wonderful thing to enrich a child's life, and even the smallest gestures can make a difference. This newsletter is about providing you with ideas and opportunities that will enrich their musical experience and help you connect with them in a positive and life changing way.

The time for Christmas recitals is nearing and picking the right music for your private music students can make a world of difference. Supporting Your Music Program with Your Printed Program
Sometimes giving the gift of music means doing what you can to keep your program going. Parents and staff often don't appreciate the value of music in the schools so printed programs are your chance to let folks know how valuable your program is. I have included three resources below. Hanging Out
I've enjoyed many wonderful hours playing with kids on the playground and many lunches in the cafeteria listening to knock-knock jokes and other funny stuff. It's a chance to connect with students and let them know you care. During those busier times, you can try to make eye contact with as many students as possible. A glance their way and a smile will let them know that you know that they are there and that you care about them.
