Create a Writing Assignment
Write a few paragraphs on Frederic Chopin that includes facts about his life and music. Then ask your child to complete the project by watching a recorded performance of one of Chopin's preludes or noctures for piano on YouTube.com. The following questions will help to guide their critique.
1) If the music was telling a story, what would it be? (No right or wrong answers - just a way to get kids to really listen and think.)
